June 1999. A Context-aware GSM / PDA demonstration was done both
in Bologna (April) and Brussels (June), using a Nokia GSM and a Palm connected
to the TEA board.
July 1999. A paper about the fusion of different sensors was submitted
(and accepted) at the International Conference on Information Fusion in
Sunnyvale (CA).
September 1999. The hardware architecture of TEA was described in
a paper that was presented at the 6th IEEE International Conference on
Electronics, Circuits and Systems.
September 1999. A paper describing the first stage of the project
was presented at the International Symposium for Handheld and Ubiquitous
Computing '99 (HUC99) in Karlsruhe,
Germany.
October 1999. TEA was chosen as a product casestudy at the Antwerp
