Organization
The Telecooperation Office (TecO) was founded in 1993 at the University of
Karlsruhe for R&D in applied telematics in close collaboration with
industry. TecO is one group of the Institute of Telematics but
distinguishes itself in being close to industry both wrt to its funding
model and its participation in "real-world projects" with a range of
partners in the software, telecommunications, and multimedia
industries. The TecO is headed by
Prof.
Dr. W. Juling and
Prof. Dr. H. Hartenstein and led by
Christian Decker (previously
by
Dr.-Ing. Michael Beigl).
