About

Takashi Miyaki received his B.A. degree in environmental information from Keio University and his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in informatics from The University of Tokyo, in 2003, 2005 and 2008, respectively. From 2008 to 2010, he was an assistant professor at Interfaculty Initiative in Information Studies, The University of Tokyo. He is currently a research associate at TecO, Pervasive Computing Systems, Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.

His research interests include Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), ubiquitous computing and media processing. More specifically, he is interested in developing interaction techniques for ubiquitous environments; connecting real- and virtual-world to support user interactions in daily life.
