Overview

You will help us design PCBs for wearables with bleeding edge sensors/ICs, test them, and write the drivers/firmware to interface with them. We would want you asap, as our previous embedded hardware / software HiWi will graduate soon (KIT bureaucracy takes 1-2 months, so the start would be 1-2 months after being offered the job).

Profile

You should:

  • be fluent in either English or German
  • be highly organised and structured in your work
  • have experience designing PCBs
  • have experience with embedded firmware (C, C++)
  • be able to come to TECO regularly to debug PCBs

It would be great if you:

  • have some experience with soldering components on small PCBs
  • have experience with PCB debugging (oscilloscopes, etc)
  • plan to stay at KIT for several more years (ideally, we are looking for a long-term HiWi)

What we offer

  • Absolutely flexible working hours
  • Contribute to cutting edge research projects
  • A cool hardware lab with top notch equipment
